Safety comes first. Before we present any options, every operator and aircraft goes through our internal due diligence. We work with FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft and FAR Part 121 operators for airliner-size and regional-jet group trips. Part 135 is the FAA’s set of rules for on-demand, for-hire charter, which is what we arrange. It carries stricter operating, crew, and insurance requirements than Part 91, the rules that cover private, non-commercial flying that can’t be sold as charter. Part 121 covers the airliner-size operators, and every flight we arrange is operated under one of these two standards. As part of our due diligence, we confirm the operator’s certification, and we review pilot experience and currency on the specific aircraft type along with the operator’s own safety history before the trip reaches you.
We also reference third-party safety audits from ARGUS and Wyvern, the two independent auditors in private aviation. Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
