Update: 9/2/2021

Teterboro Airport (KTEB) is currently experiencing delays due to flooding in the terminals and on the taxiway and runways after the remnants of Hurricane Ida past through the Northeast.

As of 10:30 AM EST, the Teterboro Airport is closed indefinitely, with tentative plans to re-open around 00:00 EST.

Flights scheduled out of Teterboro over the next 48 hours are being provided with hourly updates regarding the resumption of operations.

The Newark Liberty International Airport (KEWR) is also experiencing delays due to flooding in the commercial terminal that started around 10:30 PM local time last night.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says both the lower roadways and lobby of the terminal are closed as they work to reopen the areas.

370 flights were cancelled and nearly 50 flights delayed as result of the flooding at KEWR.

The LaGuardia and JFK Airports experiencing minimal flooding, and are operating as normal.

The Essex County Airport (KCDW) is also closed as of 12:00 EST due to excessive flooding; the airport is tentatively scheduled to reopen around 1:00 EST on 9/3/2021.
